A Way with Words Branding

Logo and Branding Sheet - February 2025

This was a project for a design class which included a business card, resume and advertisement banner. The colour scheme is one I’ve been using for a while on Twitch and YouTube, but the logo and font choices are (mostly) new. Adobe Illustrator and InDesign were used during this project.

How-to Magazine Spread

This was a group project with two other team members. The writing and layout were done by my team; the illustrations, branding sheet and colour scheme were done by me. Illustrations were created in Illustrator.

Finding My Forever Weapon

YouTube Thumbnail - February 2025

The main goal of any YouTube video is to get clicks! What I like most about this thumbnail is the little things like the glowing outline of my reaction face and the simple hearts on my eyes. I also get a giggle out of the font choice giving “serial killer love letter” vibes. I used GIMP to create this thumbnail.

Vlogmas

YouTube Thumbnail - December 2024

The main goal of any YouTube video is to get clicks! The strengths of this thumbnail are in its simplicity. Vlogmas is an oversaturated time on YouTube so I think going simple was actually a way to stand out among the crowd. I used GIMP to create this thumbnail.

Branding sheet, poster and logo - November 2024

This was a group project with two other team members. While it was a group effort, I did create the logo (with input) and chose the colour scheme. I put together the final branding sheet. The individual parts of the project were to make a branding/promotional material, and I made a poster. Everything was created in Adobe Illustrator.

YouTube Thumbnail - September 2024

The main goal of any YouTube video is to get clicks! I actually don’t think this thumbnail is my best work, but I include it because YouTube told me it was one of my most successful at the time. I think its strength was more in the subject matter, but I’ll take the win! I used GIMP to create this thumbnail.

Times and Galaxy

The main goal of any YouTube video is to get clicks! If I can think of a good, non-generic “reaction face” I love to use it. I think it adds a little extra interest to the thumbnail which of course leads to more clicks! I used GIMP to create this thumbnail.
